NANCY & SAM

OCTOBER 24, 2009
wedding - Bedford, IN

Gooooood afternoon! :) (And happy Friday!) Last week Andy and I photographed Nancy & Sam's incredibly sophisticated wedding in Bedford, IN. The more time we spent with these two, the more we felt like family. Nancy and Sam mastered the perfect balance of putting great emphasis on what mattered most to them. And it was; in a word, wonderful. :)

Their ceremony took place at the beautiful Red Brick at Otis Park.

Nancy incorporated crystals into all facets of the wedding. ;)

The shoes.

The dress.

The blossoms.
Flowers created by the fun ladies at Artful Blooms.

Here's Nancy, being breathtaking. :)

And her amazing ring. Sam did a nice job ;)

I tested the waters and asked if Nancy and Sam minded laying in the grass for a few photos. We knew we were meant to be when they snuggled right up next to each other and took a few minutes to themselves. One from my view...

And one from Andy's. :)

Isn't she one lovely lady!? :)

Speaking of lady... ;)

No words for this one. Just smiles :)

These next few are my absolute favorites of the day.

Andy caught this one. Look at that LIGHT! :)

:) :) (Andy's already told me I've used too many smilies. I don't even care. I love this couple :))

On to the reception! Which was held at the Indiana Memorial Union, on IU's campus in Bloomington.

In the Federal Room. Is this not exquisite!?

More incredible details by Artful Blooms. Nancy and Sam incorporated fresh pears into their decor and into the meal :)

Nancy and Sam, we cannot thank you enough for choosing us to be a part of your memorable, meaningful day.

HOLLY & MICHAEL

OCTOBER 21, 2009
e-session - Mitchell, IN

Andy here. Amanda and I met Holly & Michael at Spring Mill State Park for their engagement session. One of my favorite things in this world is being outdoors so I was thrilled to see a state park that I'd never visited before.

This is Amanda's point of view...

... and this is mine. Amanda encourages our clients to snuggle. :)

We love this little bed of leaves. We love Fall.

A favorite. They just look so comfy with each other.

Speaking of comfy...

Amanda's favorite.

Spring Mill has a cool little "pioneer village" filled with quaint little buildings. We liked.

Note the tiny "No pets allowed" sign above their heads. You can't go in the building, Cheddar :(

I like the soft light on their faces here.

Thanks, you two, for taking a walk around with us. We look forward to your wedding next September.
